The third Pioneer variant had to be made. A stretched chassis and cab, with detail and turntable added. The front end, roof and side windows are the same as the other Pioneers.
The third Pioneer variant had to be made. A stretched chassis and cab, with detail and turntable added. The front end, roof and side windows are the same as the other Pioneers.
In this conversion, the chassis was lengthened, the cab was extended and the turntable mount added with three more castings. A turntable casting was added but this is not fixed so that each model can be attached to a different trailer for the individual collector. I will attempt the daunting task of building the matching trailer at a later date. I have added a Dinky style tow hook for trailers that use a drawbar.

The underside looks just like an authentic Dinky and you can just see the model number through the aperture under the cab.
