Leyland Martian Breakdown.
Following on from the M62 Wrecker, and after some research I found that I could use the castings from the Berliet crane to create this variant.
It took considerable effort to cut the very substantial 689 casting up to give a base on which to build this model. A new bed and cab rear and other parts had to be cast, as well as using the crane parts from the Berliet 826 Breakdown Truck. The result is a fairly authentic representation of this heavyweight lifter.
